When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed - Maya Angelou

Back in December, 2014 we all were hit by the sorrowful news of Late Kittu Uncle's severe health issues. We were deeply saddened to know that Mr.Kittu had been diagnosed with Motor Neuron disease. Both of his legs and arms were not functioning. He was undergoing an ailment with all the money that his family could afford. It was truly disheartening that his family was drastically hit by financial scarcity.

When JNVCKM Alumni Association requested you to make financial contributions to the family, we were hopeful that we would be able to support them in a small way. Through Facebook, mails, SMSs, WhatsApp messages and phone calls too many volunteered to canvass for this cause. What happened in the next few weeks was truly unbelievable. We were pleasantly surprised by the enormous amount of love shown by each and everyone in this community. Sometimes Life takes tragic turns and twists, but we all stayed together to face the challenge and did the best from our side.

A total of Rs.243550 collected , was handed over to Late Kittu uncle's wife and their son in the presence of Principal and other school staff. The Principal has also handed over the amount of Rs.68000 collected by the staff and students of the school. A few alumni are still contributing to the cause on a monthly basis. Pramod Sir was highly instrumental in coordinating this fund-raising activity.

As they say helping hands are better than praying lips, we all stood up for the cause. Let us take this moment to pat on our shoulders (You deserve it !) and pray well for their family. Let the Almighty give all strength to cope up with the loss and do well in Life.
The family of Late Kittu Uncle, The Principal and Staff of JNV have appreciated our efforts in raising funds and caring for them during the hard times.

Kindly pass on this message to your friends.

P.S: Thank YOU !
