Navodaya Vidyala have enthusiastically tried to uphold the spirti of the New Education Policy of the Government of India supplemented by curriculum frame work 2005 which rightly emphasises the importance of integrated education for the harmonious all round development of the child's personality.

Appropriate and down to earth plan is done to achieve this target by imparting training for 3H's viz. Head, Heart and Hand. Besides class room instructions, their mental and intellectual faculties are being sharpened by arranging various competitions through out the academic year at the Intra House and Inter House level. The Inter-House Competitions are held under Junior and Senior categoris in include all students of the institution.

Some of the items of the competitions are light music, group music, extempore , group discussion, recitation, quiz, monoact, fancy dress, drawing and painting, solo dance, group dance, elocution etc.

NCC, Scouts and Guides

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is recognised as a State for Scouting and Guiding activities by the Bharat Scouts and Guides. Our students regularly and actively participate in various programmes of BSG. Every year many scouts & Guides of JNVs bring laurels by getting Rajya Puraskar and Rashtrapati Awards.
JNVB also has NCC Training. Several NCC cadets from the JNV have excelled themselves and brought laurels and have represented NVS in several districts/state and national level rallies/parades/competitions.
